Between memory and presence

The body becomes a map of what remains.

Tolnacs Danut Lucian works with expressive figurative drawing and mixed media. His fragmented figures emerge through charcoal, abrasion, layered marks and the material memory of nautical charts.

The practice moves between personal experience and inherited memory, treating the face and body as symbolic territories rather than fixed likenesses.
